Dana's work explores the tiny things that have a big impact. Nature is filled with the tiny: tiny creatures digging in the dirt, tiny moments in time that can change your life, a tiny gesture that stays in your heart forever.
Drawing with thread, Dana spotlights the search for real connections to others and the drive for every creature to find its place in the world, no matter how tiny.
Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dana earned her bachelor's degree from the American College of Applied Arts. She currently lives in Oakland with her cat, Tallulah, and her dogs, Mabel and Sugar.
